Guwahati: Five Nabbed as Police Raid Illegal Teer Gambling Hub in Sijubari

GUWAHATI: An EGPD team from Hatigaon PS busted a ‘teer’ gambling den in Sijubari and apprehended five gamblers, namely Ainul Haque (32), Abdul Sabur (45), Hakim Ali (42), Nazar Ali (33), and Sahid Khan (43). The team seized 15 teer tickets, one chalkboard, three mobile phones, and Rs 5,200 in cash.
