Guwahati: Heroin seized, drug peddlers arrested in city

A team from Basistha PS raided a hideout at Khanapara and arrested two drug peddlers named Reazul Rahman alias Raja (32) of Panjabari & Abdus Samad (37) of Chaygaon.

GUWAHATI: A team from Basistha PS raided a hideout at Khanapara and arrested two drug peddlers named Reazul Rahman alias Raja (32) of Panjabari & Abdus Samad (37) of Chaygaon.

Police seized 16 boxes of heroin (weighing 143.42 grams), 135 empty vials, two mobile phones, and a Royal Enfield bike (AS-01BB0804).
