
GUWAHATI: The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) is mourning the loss of its founder director, Dr D.D. Mali, who passed away recently. Dr Mali was a visionary leader who played a pivotal role in shaping IIE into a premier institution for entrepreneurship education and research.
As a mark of respect, Dr Mali's body was brought to the IIE campus, where the institution's community gathered to pay their last respects. A condolence meeting was organized, which was attended by Director (I/C) A. S. S. Dewan, faculty, and staff. The gathering paid rich floral tribute to Dr Mali, remembering his remarkable life, achievements, and contributions to the field of entrepreneurship.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Founder Director, Dr D.D. Mali. His vision, guidance, and leadership have been instrumental in shaping IIE," said A. S. S. Dewan, Director (I/C) of IIE. Dr Mali's legacy will continue to inspire and guide the IIE community, and his contributions to entrepreneurship education and research will be remembered for years to come, a press release said.
