Guwahati: Investigation launched after pork meat found inside mosque compound

Guwahati: After the Masjid committee lodged an FIR with the Dispur Police regarding the alleged recovery of pork meat inside the mosque premises, authorities have launched an immediate investigation into the incident.

The Dispur police are scanning CCTV footage from the Panjabari areas to trace the individuals involved. As part of the investigation, officials are examining several angles, including the possible motive behind the act, which has triggered concern in the local community. A handwritten letter was also found along with the meat, containing a woman’s name and phone number. The woman was interrogated by the police to gather further details.
