Guwahati: Khagen Kalita elected as GPC president, Amarendra as GS

GUWAHATI: Khagen Kalita of The CrossCurrent and Amarendra Deka of Pratidin Time were elected as president and general secretary, respectively, of Gauhati Press Club (GPC) today.

The counting began this morning. The voting took place on Tuesday in a peaceful manner. 

The results of other posts of the press club are awaited as the counting was going on till the filing of this report.
