Guwahati: Latasil police arrest woman on charge of stealing Muga sets

GUWAHATI: A team from Latasil Police Station arrested a woman named Anjali Gowala for allegedly stealing three elegant Paat Muga sets from a cloth store, “Koina”, in Baruwari. According to police, Anjali entered the store on April 27, slipped the Muga sets into her bag, and left without paying. The authorities tracked her down to Gandhi Basti, where the stolen items were recovered. Police also arrested a person named Samrat Pathak in connection with the case.  Both Anjali and Samrat now face legal consequences for their actions.
