Guwahati: Man arrested on charge of assaulting minor in city

GUWAHATI: Police arrested a 55-year-old identified as Tapan Bhaduri for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl from his neighbourhood. According to police, the accused took advantage of the young girl when she was alone at her residence. Upon learning about the incident, the victim’s family immediately lodged a complaint with the police. Responding swiftly, officials from the Odalbakra outpost apprehended the accused.
