Guwahati: Police Arrested Two Drug Peddler with Heroin in City

GUWAHATI: A team of Basishta police personnel under East Guwahati Police District arrested a drug peddler, Manash Jyoti Medhi of Kerakuchi from Beharbari. The police recovered 12 vials of heroin weighing 16.17 gm. In another incident, Pan Bazar police arrested a drug peddler, Sahidul Islam, alias Babu, of Bilasipara. The police seized 22 vials of heroin weighing 29.43 grams from his possession.
