
Guwahati: With a view to provide free coaching to UPSC aspirants of the state, Raj Bhavan, Assam inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan in presence of Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya in Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.
It may be noted that the understanding aims to identify and support 10 talented UPSC aspirants and train them by offering free coaching at the most reputed civil services institutes in New Delhi. Arya Pratibha Vikas Sansthan is a unit of Akhil Bharatiya Dayanand Sewasharam Sangh, a Civil Services preparatory initiative by Arya Samaj.
It may also be mentioned that Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya launched an initiative “Governor Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana on 17th September, 2024 on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the aspirants of Civil Services Examination from Assam.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Joint Secretary, Governor’s Secretariat Bidit Das, and Vice President of Akhil Bhartiya Dayanand Sewashram Sangh Vinay Arya. The purpose of this MoU is to collaborate in supporting and implementing the “Governor Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana 2025”, an initiative for the benefits of the civil services aspirants of Assam, stated a press release.
