Guwahati: Siba Prasad Mohanty appointed as 1st MD of AVFCCL

Guwahati: Dr. Siba Prasad Mohanty, the current Managing Director of Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL), has been appointed as the first Managing Director of the newly formed Assam Valley Fertilizer and Chemical Company Limited (AVFCCL).

AVFCCL is a joint venture initiative involving the Government of Assam, Oil India, National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), HURL, and Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL). The company has been established with the goal of enhancing fertilizer production capacity and agricultural development in the north-eastern region of India.
