Guwahati: Two poetry collections released at function

GUWAHATI: Two poetry collections authored by noted litterateur and retired agricultural scientist Dr Arun Sharma and poet Krishna Kanta Nath were formally released at a function organized by the Koinadhara branch of the Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX). The books — Jerengar Smriti, a collection of poems by Dr Arun Sharma, and Kadami by Krishna Kanta Nath — were unveiled at a literary gathering conducted under the chairmanship of Dr Arun Sharma, president of the Koinadhara Sakha Xahitya Xabha. The programme began with a one-minute silence in memory of veteran journalist Dhirendra Nath Chakravarty.
