Heroin seized; 2 held by East Guwahati Police District

GUWAHATI: A team of the East Guwahati Police District from Jorabat Out Post of Basistha Police Station arrested Sahid Marbaniang alias Donal (24) and Amit Maliyang (27), both residents of Nongpoh, Meghalaya at 9th Mile on Monday. A total of 36.7 gm heroin, 26 vials, Rs 3,980 in cash and one KTM bike were recovered from their possession.
