Impolite language against CM doesn’t augur well: BJP Assam Pradesh

Staff Reporter

GUWAHATI: The BJP Assam Pradesh says that the language being used by the people spearheading the protests against the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) and attacking the State Chief Minister with immodest language does not augur well for any society, let alone the modest Assamese society.

Addressing a press conference at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan here on Monday, the party’s spokesperson Rupam Goswami said, “Modesty is being stretched to its limit by a section of leaders in the name of their protest against the CAA. The very language they use while criticizing the Chief Minister doesn’t augur well for any society, let alone the Assamese society.” The spokesperson said this against the backdrop of various organizations, including the AASU (All Assam Students’ Union), showing black flags to the Chief Minister and attacking him with impolite language.
