Inauguration of ‘Ajay Bhavan’ at DIPR, Guwahati

 GUWAHATI: A guest house called ‘Ajay Bhawan’ was inaugurated at the premises of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on Monday. The guest house was officially inaugurated by Director of Public Relations Manbendra Deb Roy in the presence of all the officers and employees. The director assured that he would provide all kinds of assistance for the smooth management of the building and the provision of necessary facilities.

The building is located on the premises of the DIPR. The building was constructed with the assistance of various people in a short period of time. The building was constructed with the deposit funds of the association, public relations headquarters, and cash donations from all officers and employees of the district and sub-divisions. They expressed their gratitude to the recently retired Additional Director Pradeep Brahma and the office bearers of the Assam Public Relations Officers Association. Additional Director of the Directorate Shekhar Ingti, Joint Directors Deepak Basumatari and Rajiv Saikia, and officers and employees of the headquarters were present at the inauguration ceremony, stated a press release.
