Indian Dental Association Golden Jubilee ends at GMCH auditorium

GUWAHATI: The Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Indian Dental Association, Assam State branch started on December 7 with a two-day-long programme concluded at the GMCH auditorium on Sunday. Along with the celebration, the 11th North-East Regional Dental Conference and 50th annual dental conference were also held.

Former State DGP Kuladhar Saikia formally inaugurated the main meeting that witnessed the presence of Dr. Rabindar Singh and Dr. B R Bhuyan as guests of honour.

There was a workshop with the students, besides a prize distribution ceremony, poster writing, quiz contest, photography and dental curving competition. Dr. B R Bhuyan was honoured with a life-time achievement Award. Dr. Manik Saha from Tripura, Dr. Nripendra Nath Sarma from Assam, Dr. N Mara from Arunachal and four other doctors were honoured with Achievers Award of Indian Dental Association.
