Infant's body found in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: The body of a new-born infant was found abandoned in a shrubbery at the College of Veterinary Science campus at Khanapara here on Sunday morning.

Some local people saw the body and informed the Dispur police. The body was later taken to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for autopsy.
