Mann Ki Baat: Assam BJP Registers Massive Engagement in State

GUWAHATI: The 119th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's iconic monthly radio address, 'Mann Ki Baat,' witnessed an extraordinary response across Assam, as lakhs of BJP karyakartas congregated at a whopping 29,656 booth-committee gatherings to tune in collectively to the popular programme.

In a meticulously coordinated effort by BJP Assam Pradesh, thousands of booths across the state transformed into hubs of enthusiasm and intellectual discourse, where party members attentively attended the Prime Minister's address. The session was also attended by the entire contingent of ministers of Assam, presided over by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, before the beginning of the cabinet session in the state capital.

BJP State president Dilip Saikia, along with state general secretary Pulok Gohain and an assemblage of BJP Yuva Morcha karyakartas, also attended the session at Booth No. 45 of the Narakasur Mandal in Guwahati.

During this edition of Mann Ki Baat, the Prime Minister specifically highlighted the vital role of India's Adivasi communities in environmental stewardship, emphasizing the importance of indigenous wisdom and collective responsibility in safeguarding the environment for future generations. He praised their deep-rooted traditions of living in harmony with nature, emphasizing their efforts in conserving forests, wildlife, and biodiversity. The prime minister also mentioned Assam's remarkable success in protecting the one-horned rhinoceros, a species that was once severely threatened by poaching.

The remarkable participation in this edition of Mann Ki Baat is a testament to the enthusiasm and dedication of BJP's karyakartas in Assam. The massive engagement not only showcased the ideological cohesion within the party but also served as a reaffirmation of the unwavering commitment of karyakartas towards furthering the vision of nation-building, underscoring the deep connection between the leadership and the grassroots workers.
