New GPC (Guwahati Press Club) executive committee takes oath

GUWAHATI: The oath taking ceremony of newly formed GPC (Guwahati Press Club) committee was held on the GPC premises on Sunday.

Manoj Kumar Nath has been elected as the GPC president and Sanjoy Ray has been elected as the GPC general secretary for the above term. Dhaniram Kalita has been elected to the post of GPC vice president, while Mousumi Sarma Barua has been elected as the other vice president of the GPC, which is reserved for women.

Sanjoy Ray has been elected as the General Secretary while Manindra Deka won the post of Assistant General Secretary and Manisha Kalita won the post of AGS Reserved for Women.

The post of Treasurer went to Nayan Pratim Kumar and post of cultural secretary went to Pallabi Bora while Raju Baruah won as Organizational secretary and Dhiraj Hazarika won as Sports Secretary. The committee took oath for a period of two-years.
