Obituary: Swarnalata Devi

Swarnalata Devi, a resident of Rukminigaon in Guwahati, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, after a brief illness. She was 68. She was actively involved in various socio-religious activities in the Rukminigaon area.

She had recently published her maiden book on religious hymns. People and various organisations in the area widely mourned her death. She leaves behind a son, a daughter, three grandchildren, and a host of relatives.
