Police Alleged of Bribery from Gamblers in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Allegations about police personnel accepting a bribe from gamblers have emerged. Paltanbazar police in this regard, took in five people for questioning, however, till the moment of writing this news, no developments have been made. As per the police, a departmental inquiry is being made. According to a high official source, the alleged bribery happened at a gambling den near Nehru Stadium and involved a driver, two home-guards, and two constables.
