GUWAHATI: A nine-day awareness campaign under the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) of India on 'Air Pollution: Its affect and abatement' was organized recently by the Guwahati Regional Office-I of the Pollution Control Board, Assam (PCBA) in collaboration with B Borooah College and Inspector of Schools, Kamrup (M) district circle, stated a press release.

The programme was held at Natun Fatasil Town High School, Kaliram Baruah High School, Dispur Udayachal High School, B Borooah College, Banikanta Memorial Higher Secondary School, Cotton Collegiate Govt. Higher Secondary School, Kahilipara High School, Betkuchi High School and Bengali Higher Secondary School.

Dr Arup Kumar Misra, Chairman, Pollution Control Board, Assam was the Chief Guest of the meeting held at B Borooah College on March 4.
