Purabee Roy Appointed Assam BJP Mahila Morcha President

GUWAHATI: The Assam unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed senior party worker Purabee Roy as the state president of its Mahila Morcha with immediate effect. The appointment was announced by Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia through a press release.

Roy will head the party's women's wing in Assam following the announcement.
