Swachhata Pakhwada drive organised by Punjab National Bank in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: With a view to realizing the vision of Mahatma Gandhi and transform it into a nationwide awakening, the Government of India has promoted "Swachh Bharat Mission". "Swachhata Pakhwada" is a fortnight of demonstrative promotion for promulgating awareness among every Indian to imbibe the spirit of cleanliness in surroundings, workplaces, body and in mind. Motivated and propelled by the Mission, the entire members of PNB NE families voluntarily and wholeheartedly participating and organizing walkathons, street plays and cyclothones. Outreach camps are being organized administering Swatchhta Pledge to thousands of people, a press release said.
