Tenure of Shiladitya Dev as ALMDB chairperson extended for one year

GUWAHATI: The tenure of the chairperson of the Assam Linguistic Minorities Development Board (ALMDB) was extended by one year.

The Department of Welfare of Minorities and Development has issued a notification regarding the decision of the Assam Government. According to the notification, the tenure of Shiladitya Dev, chairperson of ALMDB, was extended for one year, effective from November 17, 2024. Shiladitya Dev is the former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Hojai.
