Two-day national seminar from March 25 at Guwahati University

GUWAHATI: A two-day national seminar on the topic “Socio cultural milieu of Assam and Tripura through the lens of epics and puranas” will be organized by the Department of Sanskrit of Guwahati University on March 25 and 26. Interested participants can contribute a paper on any of the following subthemes – Social justice, Humanism, Status of women, Education, Legal aspects, Expiatory rites, Environment, Scientific elements, Religious aspects, Political aspects, Literature, Any other related topic. The participants are requested to send an abstract of the paper within 300 words in MS Word format before March 8. It is also requested to submit the complete paper during the seminar as the proceedings of the seminar will be published. The language of the abstract paper should be in English or Sanskrit. The registration fee for the participants is Rs. 1,000 and they can submit their papers at -sansgu.seminar20@gmail.com.
