Two ganja peddlers nabbed by East Guwahati Police District

GUWAHATI: A team of the East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) from the Basistha Police Station arrested two criminals - Suren Hynary and Dinesh Daimary, both from Majbat in the Udalguri district - after seizing a sizeable quantity of ganja from their possession at the Beharbari area here on Tuesday night. Police sources said the EGPD team arrested the duo after intercepting their vehicle (AS25-BC-7762) and recovering 600 gm of ganja hidden inside it.
