Two new departments likely in Cotton University

GUWAHATI: Cotton University likely has two more departments – LLM (Masters of Law) and Library and Information Science, besides PG course for Women’s Studies – from the coming academic session subject to approval by its Academic Council.

According to the source in the university, for Library Science and LLM, a teacher each has been recruited, and for Women’s Studies, the University already has one. The matter, according to the source, will be raised at the Academic Council meeting of the University, and if the Council okays it the two departments and the PG course will be a reality.
