SHILLONG: Union home minister Amit Shah will be in the northeast to meet the chief ministers of the northeastern states, is also expected to visit rain-renowned Sohra (Cherrapunjee) during his two-day visit to the state, chief minister Conrad K. Sangma said on Friday.

This is for information of the general public that 1he Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will be visiting Shillong & Sohm on the 24th & 25th July 2021. Therefore, in view of lite safe and smooth passage of the VVIP during his visit and for better convenience of the general public, citizens of Shillong and adjoining areas arc hereby requested 10 avoid journey in and around Shillong city unless required or for emergency purposes.

In view of the above, the below noted places I areas arc hereby declared No-Entry zones
