Indian popular actor, producer and politician, Dharmendra Deol celebrate his 86th birthday on Wednesday 8 December.

Dharmendra is popularly known as "He-Man" in the world of Indian cinema and is also called Garam Dharam. He is the megastar of Bollywood known for his evergreen dialogues and best films with outstanding acting performance.

On his 86th birthday, the legendary actor received heart-warming wishes from his sons Bobby Deol, Sunny Deol and daughter Esha Deol. Bobby, Sunny and Esha posted the birthday wish on the social media platform Instagram by regarding their father as a legend and the strength of the family. They express what their father meant to them making the day special for him.

Throughout his acting career, Dharmendra has successfully appeared in more than 100 movies as a lead actor. For his contribution to Bollywood, Dharmendra has received various awards including the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in the year 1997. He was also the recipient of Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian honor of the country in the year 2012.

The veteran actor Dharam Singh Deol was born on 8 December 1935 in the Nasrali region of Punjab. Apart from his long acting career in Bollywood, Dharmendra has also contributed to the politics of the country by being a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India where he represented the Bikaner constituency in Rajasthan from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Dharmendra is well known for his sense of humor in the dialogues that he delivered in his films. One of the most popular dialogues by Dharmendra is 'Basanti Un Kutton Ke Saamne Mat Nachna' from the film Sholay (1975).
