The series' narrative centres on a perplexing murder case in which two mismatched hill station cops must negotiate a labyrinth of suspects that leads to misunderstanding and more. In this series, Raveena Tandon will play the role of Kasturi Dogra, a station house officer.
Aranyak means "Of the Forest", The crucial incident that sets the stage for the Netflix drama that reintroduces Raveena Tandon to our screens takes place to inside the forest. The inhabitants are surrounded by a thick layer of rainforest, giving the impression that they have interrupted the wildlife to create their houses. The antagonism between man and animal is also discussed.
The show begins with a power struggle within a police station and quickly progresses through a murder, an investigation, politicians playing games, and finally a family drama. There are numerous factors that must be considered in order for the show to be successful. And the authors and director want to touch on all of these, but they get caught up in the question of how much is too much. That will be discussed later.
The show is directed in a standard style by director Vinay Waikul. The screenplay alternates between the several setups introduced in the first two or three episodes. He does not do a lot of experimentation. Of course, he opens each episode with a flashback to a character's horrific background
As the mystery deepens, the creators deftly shift from one incident to the next; eventually bringing them all together for a perfect hook point, which is followed by another and another and are perfectly lined up.
Furthermore, the DOP team, in collaboration with the production design team and background score (by Nimish Shah and Dipanjan Guha), has succeeded in encapsulating the world of Sironah, allowing the audience to experience both the beauty and the eeriness of the setting. She conveys Kasturi Dogra's strengths and vulnerabilities with ease, while maintaining her character's personality features. As usual, Parambrata gives a fantastic portrayal as a balanced but shattered cop, while Ashutosh Rana's performance as Mahadev Dogra is subtle but powerful.
"I've always gravitated toward films and content that promotes women's empowerment. Kasturi, my character, has a feminine and feminist undertone to her. She is a mother, a nurturer, and she adores her children, but she is divided between her career and her family. Her family does not provide emotional support, and she is constantly taunted, but she does not want to miss out on the chances that are presented to her. However, there are sacrifices to be made, and she must conquer them all. As a result, I am confident many women in our country who are always juggling job and family will empathise with her" Tandon stated regrading Aranyak
