Dhamaka Movie Review: Netflix Thriller Starring Kartik Aaryan

The Dhamaka movie directed by Ram Madhvani has been released on the OTT platform of Netflix today on Friday, 19 November during the afternoon hours at 1:30 PM.

The movie cast Kartik Aryan, Amruta Subhash, Mrunal Thakur, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Vikas Kumar and others. The IMDb rating of the movie is 10/10.

Kartik Aaryan in the movie plays the role of Arjun Pathak as a radio jockey working in a channel whose life takes a turn with the opening scenes as he is thrown into the center of the crisis. Arjun suddenly saw a vision of Landmark Bridge breaking and falling into the sea and just a few minutes before this encountering this vision a man calls him and claims that he will blow up the Mumbai Sea Link if his demands are not fulfilled.

The caller looks for help from Arjun as a Radio jockey because he wanted that a powerful politician should apologize to him as that Politician has led to the tragic death of 3 persons. Amruta Subhash plays the role of Aryan's boss named Ankita Malaskar who does everything that the channel wants.

Dhamaka movie is the remake of 'The Terror Live', a Korean movie in 2013. It shows how a TV channel does all possible ways to increase their television ratings. It is a worth watching film but lacks interest towards the execution of the film. The audience will soon realize by the end that the thriller movie misses some of the most important elements of a thriller such as tension, terror and urgency. The film is set very ordinarily without any rapid-fire action in the newsroom or any other intense scenes.
