New Delhi: The entire music world is in shock as the vocal queen Lata Mangeshkar passed away on Sunday. She was popularly known as 'Swar Kokila' and was also honoured with Bharat Ratna. She gave her voice to thousands of songs in her career.

Apart from Hindi, Lata sang songs in many other Indian languages which will always be memorable. But do you know which was Lata's last song?

Lata Mangeshkar gave her voice to more than 5 thousand songs in about 36 Indian languages. However, if we talk about her last release song, then it was 'Saugandh Mujhe Is Mitti Ki' which was composed by Mayuresh Pai. This song was released on 30 March 2019 and it was performed to honour the nation and the Indian Army.

Talking about her last film song, it was the song 'Luka Chuppi' from 'Rang De Basanti' released in the year 2006. This song was composed by AR Rahman. On the other hand, her last Hindi album was the film 'Veer-Zaara' released in the year 2004. Adorned with the music of Madan Mohan, Lata had sung many superhit songs like 'Tere Liye Hum Hain Jiye', 'Aisa Des Hai Mera', 'Yeh Hum Aa Gaye Hai Kahan', 'Hum To Bhai Jaise Hain', 'Do Pal'.
