Guwahati: Kangana Ranaut today made an announcement from her Twitter account about her most awaited film 'Tejas' and shared a poster of her upcoming film.
The poster circulating on the internet has gone viral, with Kangana in the look of an Air Force pilot and Tejas standing with the jet.
In February this year, after sharing the first look of the film, it was told that she is going to play the role of an Indian Air Force Pilot.
Kangana has been seen in very different roles in her career of almost 15 years so far, but this will be the first time that she will be seen in the uniform of security forces.
Kangana shared a new poster of the film along with the quote, 'Tejas is about to fly in December. I am proud to be a part of this fantastic story, which is the story of our courageous Airforce pilot. Jai Hind!'
#Tejas to take-off this December! ✈️ Proud to be part of this exhilarating story that is an ode to our brave airforce pilots! Jai Hind 🇮🇳 #FridaysWithRSVP@sarveshmewara1 @RonnieScrewvala @rsvpmovies @nonabains pic.twitter.com/2XC2FgnQKb— Kangana Ranaut (@KanganaTeam) August 28, 2020
The shooting of the film will start in December. It will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala, which will be his second film on our courageous heroine after 'Uri'. Sarvesh Mewada will direct this film.
The name and poster of the film make it abundantly clear that it is also the story of the only indigenous Advanced Light Combat Aircraft (ALC) Tejas of India.
Meanwhile, Kangana is waiting for the release of her film 'Thalaivi', which is a biopic of late Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa.
