New Netflix K-Drama Series in 2022, More Than 25 Korean Shows To Be Launched
The success of Squid Game in 2021 led the Korean Netflix world to new heights as this year Netflix is going to launch more than 25 Korean dramas.

After gaining record-breaking popularity and success from Netflix Korean dramas like Hellbound and Squid Game the streaming platform is all set to launch more than 25 Korean dramas this year.
Throughout the recent years mainly in 2021, the Netflix Korean shows have reached the mark of dominating the world popular culture and this became possible after Squid Game which turn out to be the biggest ever show on Netflix.
After the global hit show Squid Game, the users started exploring for more Netflix Korean shows raising its popularity to an extreme level.
The drama series written by Hwang Dong-hyuk was viewed in more than 90 countries around the world. Most notably 95% of the show's viewership came from different countries outside Korea.

Don Kang the VP of Korean content informed that to bring the K-wave to new heights the streamer will continue collaboration with Korean storytellers because the fanbase of it includes audiences from all over the world.
As compared to 2019 the worldwide viewing hours of Korean content in Netflix increased by six-fold in 2021. The streamer has launched more than 130 Korean shows from the year 2016 to 2021 and the increasing global interest was seen because of the hard work of talented Korean creators.
Netflix provides diverse and high-quality storytelling which is loved by Korean fans across the world therefore the streamer looks ahead in bringing K content in a more diverse form.
