2 peddlers held, heroin seized in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) on Friday arrested two persons, identified as Md Chubur Miyan and Jusna Khaton from Pragjyotish Nagar under Jalukbari Police Station and recovered 41.46 gm of heroin which was kept in three soap boxes, two mobile phones and a Bolero vehicle from their possession.

Sources said that legal action has been initiated in this connection, sources said.
