Administrative depts asked to submit Supplementary Demand Proposal before Dec 17

GUWAHATI: The Finance department on Tuesday asked all administrative departments to submit Supplementary Demand (Supplementary Budget) Proposal if any for the financial year 2020-21 with the approval of Minister-in-charge by December 17, 2020.

It is to be noted that the three-day Assam Assembly Winter Session will start from December 28. The Supplementary Demand for 2020-21, will be placed by State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on the first day of the session.
