GUWAHATI: The All Assam Students' Union (AASU) has demanded justice for the students who are unhappy with the result of the Higher Secondary (HS) exam declared recently.

A delegation of the AASU held a meeting with the chairman of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), AHSEC secretary and Controller of Examinations, in Guwahati on Monday. In the meeting, the AASU said that Class XII students who were supposed to appear for the betterment, re-apperance, repeators etc. exams were not satisfied with the evaluation procedure by which they were given marks in the final exam. The AASU delegation said that such students who had been deprived of the result they deserved should get justice. The AHSEC authority assured that they would take up the issue with the grievance and redressal committee and take necessary steps. The AASU delegation included president Dipanka Kumar Nath, general secretary Shankarjyoti Baruah and chief advisor Samujjal Bhattacharya.
