All Assam Students' Union to felicitate 100 toppers at their doorstep

GUWAHATI: Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the All Assam Students' Union (AASU) will felicitate 100 students who topped in High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC), Assam High Madrassa (AHM) and Higher Secondary (HS) examinations at their doorsteps.

Unlike other years, the AASU will not organize any felicitation programme in the city, an AASU statement said here on Monday. In a meeting held in Gauhati University on Monday, the AASU has directed all district units of the student body to felicitate the topper students at their doorsteps, the statement said. The meeting was presided over by AASU president Dipanka Kumar Nath and attended by all seniuor leaders of the student body.
