GUWAHATI: Ranoj Pegu, in a programme held at Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara on Saturday, distributed assistive aids and appliances to children with special needs. On the special occasion, Pegu appealed that children with special needs should not be deprived of the benefits they avail from their department, and people should make their neighbours aware of this. He emphasized that children with special needs must not be deprived of the departmental survey.
In the distribution ceremony, Ranoj Pegu gave away tricycles, wheelchairs, cerebral palsy chairs, smart phones, Braille slates and Braille kits to the physically challenged children. A total of 7023 commodities and 3054 hearing aid machines were distributed there.
