Areas in Guwahati to face disruption in water supply on Set 4 and 5

Guwahati Municipal Corporation has issued a notice that there will be disruptions in water supply in various areas of the city due to damage to a pipeline near the Panbazar locality in the Assam city.

As per the notification issued by Guwahati Municipal Corporation, there will be a disruption in the water supply on September 4 and 5 due to 350 mm dia pumping line feeding the Sarania reservoir has occured sudden huge leaking at Panbazar Old Pipeline

The areas that will be affected are Sarania and the surrounding areas

In the notice, they also informed that the pumping to Sarania Reservoir shall be stopped today until restoration.

"Our technical team is on the ground round the clock to ensure the water supply is restored at the earliest. Mobile water tanker will be felicitated whrever it is necessary. The corporation regrets any inconvenience that maybe caused by the intrerruption." wrote in its notice.
