Assam Floods: Health Camp Organized by Srijanasom Trust in Kamrup District

GUWAHATI: A health camp for the flood-affected people in the Hajo area at Charabari in Kamrup district was organized Saturday by Srijanasom Trust, a charitable institution, in association with Excelcare Hospitals, Guwahati. The trust expresses its sincere gratitude to Indian Revenue Service officer Padmapani Bora for coming forward and taking this noble initiative for organic/ing the camp. Bora donated his ten days’ salary for flood-affected people. A total of 567 affected people attended the camp. Doctors from various departments like medicine, skin, dental have examined the patients. Free medicines were given to patients. Sanitary napkins have also been distributed among the women of the area by the Trust along with sanitization materials among the villagers, a press release said.
