Assam Government created new posts in DIPR offices in 5 districts

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Monday created total 25 posts in the office of the District Information and Public Relations (DIPR) in five districts – Hojai, West Karbi Anglong, Charaideo (Sonari), Hatsingimari (South Salinara) and Biswanath Chariali.

Out of the 25 posts, five are gazetted posts and 20 are ministerial posts. The break-up of the posts are as follows – District Information & Public Relations Officer (DIPRO) five posts; Technician (Grade-III) five posts; Duftry (Grade-IV) five posts; Cleaner (Grade-IV) one post; Jugali (Grade-IV) four posts; Peon (Grade-IV) two posts; and Chowkider (Grade-IV) three posts. After the new government came to power, Minister of the Department of Information and Public Relations, Pijush Hazarika took initiative to create these new posts.
