Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) bus routes changed to avoid Maligaon traffic

In view of the increasing traffic problems at Maligaon in Guwahati due to the ongoing flyover, the district administration has ordered a change in the routes of some Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) buses.

GUWAHATI: In view of the increasing traffic problems at Maligaon in Guwahati due to the ongoing flyover, the district administration has ordered a change in the routes of some Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) buses. All semi-urban and long-distance buses operated by ASTC will enter the city via Gorchuk, Lokhora, Beltola, or Khanapara to proceed towards the Rupnagar depot. This order came into effect on Friday.
