Basistha Police arrested 4 with drugs at Six Mile area

GUWAHATI: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) conducted raids in various parts of the city, on Wednesday. During a raid, the sleuths arrested three persons with two packets of suspected drugs and several containers at Six Mile area, said a source. The arrested persons are under interrogation and their names have not yet been revealed.

Meanwhile, the Basistha Police arrested a person with suspected drugs worth Rs 1 lakh from Nalapara, Basistha. The officials said that 8.26 gram of suspected Heroin and 200 small plastic containers were recovered. The police also recovered Rs 20,000 cash from the accused.
