Body of minor girl recovered in Gossaigaon area of Pub Boragaon

GUWAHATI: The body of a 13-year old girl was recovered from a rented house in Gossaigaon area of Pub Boragaon under Gorchuk police station here on Monday. The minor victim was the daughter of one Bal Bahadur Bishwakarma alias Bolen Chetri and Parbati Boro. Police suspect that the girl was killed by her father who is now absconding. According to police, the victim's mother had left for work in the morning after leaving her husband and daughter at home. When she arrived home at around 3 pm, she found that the door was locked from outside. After she stepped inside, she found her daughter dead on her bed.

Police suspect that Bal Bahadur Bishwakarma had committed the murder and fled after locking the front door. The suspect works as a helper in a restaurant in Ganeshguri.
