BSF Guwahati Frontier Organized a Patriotic Band Show

GUWAHATI: In continuation with a series of events on the occasion of 54th BSF ‘Raising Day’ on December 1, 2019, an interaction between BSF Frontier HQ, Guwahati and Guwahati Medical College and Hospitals was organized. During the meet BSF Guwahati Frontier organized a Patriotic Band show to commemorate the journey of 54 years in the service of the Nation.

The Border sentinels dressed in musical attire with drums, trumpets and bagpipes presented a patriotic composition before the students of GMCH. The sunset glittering air filled with patriotic zest and echoed through length and breadth with the beats and trumpets of BSF Brass & Jazz Band displaying wonderful tuning with heart touching lyrics. The show was graced by Sh Jitendra Kumar Rudola, DIG (G), BSF Frontier HQ Guwahati. It gave an opportunity to the students to witness and experience the rich music, steeped in tradition and history of the force. On this auspicious occasion, mementos were presented by BSF as a step towards nation building.

Apart from manning at both Indo-Pak and Indo-Ban borders, BSF has also carved out an elevated specialty among the security establishments of the nation in Internal Security, Counter Insurgency and Anti Naxal Operations through its dedication and unwavering professionalism. The force has earned not only laurels but also the faith and cooperation of border population. In this 54th year of force formation the force re-dedicate services to the Nation with a resolve to perform duties with more vigour and valour and continue with motto: “Jeevan Paryant Kartavya”, a press release stated.
