CID, BIEO officials undergo training in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: A day-long training programme on 'Securities & Commodities Market' was in the city on Friday by the CID, Assam in collaboration with the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), National Securities Ltd and Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd.

According to a press release, 25 investigating officers from the BIEO and CID of the State attended the training session, which covered various topics such as investigation of banking and financial frauds, the role of SEBI in dealing with unauthorized mobilization of deposits from the public, the role of stock exchanges in capital markets, etc.
