GUWAHATI: Acting on a tipoff, the Crime Branch of Guwahati Police arrested three drug peddlers and seized 105.16 gram of brown sugar — concealed in nine soap cases — from their possession during an operation at Gorolia under Basistha Police Station, on Wednesday evening.
The arrested persons have been identified as Amir Khan and his wife Sabna, besides Mohammad Wahid. All of them hail from Androthoubel area of Manipur, and were staying in a rented house at the place of operation.
