CRPF holds webinar on solid waste management in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: As per the direction of Government of India, Swachhata Pakhwada 2020 is being organized from December 1, 2020 to December 15 by the CRPF NES. Under the guidance of Sonal V. Misra, IGP NES, Shillong, a webinar session on Solid waste management was organized on Friday. A detailed PPT was given by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Director Care North East Foundation Senior Advisor and Consultant– SKAT Consulting- Switzerland. He also briefed about Zero Waste Concept, philosophy, principles to be adopted that encourages redesign of resource recycled so that products required to be reused or repaired or recycled in CRPF campuses. DIGP (ADM) NES, Ramsukhpal Singh, DIGP (PROV & Accts) NES, Ajay Vashist DIG Range Guwahati and all unit Commandants and officers of NES CRPF participated, stated a release.
