CRPF Takes Cleanliness Pledge at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Guwahati

GUWAHATI: On the occasion of ‘Swachata Pakhwara’ held at Kendriya Vidyalaya, GC, CRPF, Guwahati, a programme was organized by KV, GC, CRPF, Amerigog, Guwahati on Friday. In the event, the dignitaries were presented traditional Gamosa by Principal Dr. R.K. Bharati which was followed by the address and flag off for cleanliness drive by Prakash D., IPS and display of song on Swachhta Pakhwara by MHA, Govt. of India. Further, a cleanliness pledge was also administered in the programme by the IG NES, CRPF. A plogging rally and awareness campaign was conducted in the Kendriya Vidyalaya, 9th Mile, Khanapara, in GC, CRPF, Guwahati campus today. A rally was also organized as a part of the Swachata campaign on the same day. All the children and staff of the school participated in the rally with great enthusiasm, a press release stated.
